SAT stands for Scholastic Assessment Test and it is A standardized test that provides students with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills in mathematics, reading and writing. These scores are used by colleges to assess whether students would be able to succeed academically at their institution.
The SAT test is a three-hour and fifty-minute long test that consists of two sections. Section 1 (Reading) and Section 2 (Writing and Language) are mandatory, but students can choose whether to take one or both of the optional section 3 (Math).
